AAA (American Automobile Association) is the cornerstone of excellence in the automotive industry. It was founded in 1902 in response to the lack of suitable roads for automobiles. 1,500 members from nine motor clubs assembled together to form AAA. Many people know Triple A as the “knights in shining armor” who help you in times of motor vehicle needs. But did you know that Triple A has a program that partners with qualifying auto repair shops all over North America? These AAA Auto Approved Repair Shops offer an unrivaled customer experience that meets or exceeds AAA’s high professional standards.
Lou’s Car Care has a long standing history with the American Automobile Association. In the early 1980’s, Lou Sr. was introduced to Triple A by a longtime customer who was pleased with the automotive service he was receiving. This loyal customer was also the current president of the AAA Western & Central New York branch. At the beginning of the partnership with AAA, Lou Sr. offered 24-hour towing and roadside assistance to AAA members. On March 1, 1997, Lou’s Car Care became a AAA Approved Auto Repair Facility after meeting all of the requirements of the program.
Repair facilities in the Auto Approved Programs have been inspected and certified by AAA to meet strict quality standards.
